Before JOËLLE MARTINE was a skincare brand, it was a way to help skin heal.

In 1996, registered nurse Suzi Provenché was working alongside a plastic surgeon, caring for patients whose skin was recovering from intensive laser treatments. Frustrated by the products available to support their delicate, compromised skin, she began creating something better.

She combined what she knew from clinical care with what she believed about the restorative power of nature—pairing proven skincare science with nutrient-rich botanicals and emu oil to support the skin barrier, protect its delicate balance, and encourage healthy renewal.

The results changed everything.

And JOËLLE MARTINE was born.

A NAME THAT MEANS SOMETHING

Suzi named the line after her first daughter, Joëlle Martine.

What began with a mother and her young daughter has grown into a mother-daughter company, still guided by the same belief that started it all:

Our formulas pair proven ingredients like peptides, hyaluronic acid and exfoliating acids with ingredients such as aloe vera, green tea, sea algae, oats, apples, berries, passion flower and emu oil.

No complicated routines. No ingredients added simply because they are the current trend. No choosing between botanical skincare and modern science.

And what we leave out matters, too. Our formulas are made without artificial fragrance and dyes, SLS,or parabens.
